Anukrti Upadhyay writes fiction and poetry in both English and Hindi. A collection of Hindi short stories, titled Japani Sarai, has been published by Rajpal and Sons; and three highly acclaimed novels in English—Bhaunri, Daura and, most recently, Kintsugi—have been published by HarperCollins India under their literary imprint, Fourth Estate. Her short stories in both and English and Hindi have appeared in prestigious literary journals.
Anukrti has previously worked for Goldman Sachs and UBS in Hong Kong and India in various senior legal and compliance positions. Currently she works with Wildlife Conservation Trust, a conservation think-tank. She is an Indian national, and divides her time between Bombay and Singapore.
