Priyanka Khanna grew up in Mumbai and graduated from Hamilton College in Clinton, New York, majoring in Sociology and Comparative Literature. After graduation, she worked in the public relations department at Hearst Magazines in New York on publications including O, The Oprah Magazine, Harper’s Bazaar, CosmoGirl! and Seventeen. She returned to Mumbai and joined the launch team of Vogue India, where she spent fifteen years, most recently as the Fashion Features Director, overseeing fashion related content across digital and print.
Khanna, who was first published in The Hindu at the age of 16, has over the course of her career profiled designers such as Karl Lagerfeld, Ralph Lauren, Haider Ackermann, Peter Dundas, Isabel Marant, Sabyasachi and Tarun Tahiliani to name a few, artists such as Pharell Williams, actors including Salma Hayek, Marion Cotillard, Mila Kunis, Alia Bhatt, Anushka Sharma, Deepika Padukone, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Kareena Kapoor Khan and many more.
She writes and speaks on fashion, parenting and culture. Currently, she lives in Mumbai with her husband, and two children.
