Swapna Kona Nayudu is Lecturer of Global Affairs, Yale-NUS College, Singapore. She is also a member of the Advisory Board, Harvard University Association for Global Political Thought.

Swapna took her PhD in War Studies from King’s College London, University of London. Her work is most centrally focused on the politically transformative nature of war. Current projects are centred on India in the Cold War, with a particular focus on Indian diplomacy at the UN and India’s participation in UN peacekeeping. She conducts archival research with textual and oral histories in fourteen languages.

Her first book, The Nehru Years: An International History of Indian Non-Alignment, is represented by A Suitable Agency in the Indian subcontinent and will be published here by Juggernaut Books. The international edition is forthcoming from Cambridge University Press, UK.
